Beal Street Roof Replacement-Bids Due 6.12.2024
The HINGHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Roof Replacement at State Aided Development: Beal Street (689-1) in Hingham, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by JM BOOTH & ASSOCIATES, INC.
The Project consists of but not limited to:
Removal and replacement of asphalt shingle roof system, attic insulation and associated work.
The work is estimated to cost $62,469.00.
Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by
M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please review the instructions in the bid documents on how to register as an electronic bidder. All Bids shall be submitted online at biddocs.com and received no later than the date and time specified.
General Bids will be received until 12 June 2024 on 10:00AM EDT and publicly opened online, forthwith.
General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the HINGHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.

7 Thaxter Street Hallway Painting Project- Bids Due 6.19.2024

The Hingham Housing Authority invited written proposals from contractors for the painting of 7 interior hallways at 7 Thaxter St., Buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
This project consists of painting 7 hallways and stairwells. Two Coats of paint on all surfaces. The doors and walls are to have a 2-part urethane paint. The railings are to be oil-based paint. Ceilings are to have ceiling paint. Caulk/wood filler as needed to complete finished product. All material and equipment needed must be provided by the contractor. All paint to be Sherwin Williams (spec provided) or equal. Equal would need to be approved by the Hingham Housing Authority (HHA).
Contractors are to use the form provided for quotes. Proposals are subject to the M.G.L.c.I49sec.44a(2)(A) and to a minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.I49 S 26 to 27H inclusive.
Proposals must be received by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19th (06/19/2024).
Electrical Contractor-Thaxter Park Fire Door Hold Open Systems
The Hingham Housing Authority , the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Electrical Contractors for the Thaxter Park Fire Door Hold Open Systems at its Elderly 667-1 development in accordance with the documents prepared by Hingham Housing Authority.
The Project consists of: Materials and labor for the installation of 12 new magnetic door holders throughout 6 buildings tied into the existing Fire Alarm System.
The work is estimated to cost $ $40,535.00
Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A (2)(B) & to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
Written Quotes will be received until 10:00 a.m., October 17, 2024.

If The Total Contract Price is greater than $25,000.00 a Payment Bond in an amount not less than one half of the total contract price shall be required as part of the Contract prior to Contract validation and execution.
The project will be awarded by the Owner to the bidder that is the responsible person offering to perform the contract at the lowest price.
